Deep Imagery journeys are inner journeys in which we interact, while awake, with the other-than-ego inhabitants of our own psyches or the Earth’s psyches. The beings you meet in these journeys are potent allies in support of personal wholeness and initiation. In tonight’s presentation, Sheila will offer two forms of a deep imagery journey: a guided meditation to meet a teacher and a shamanic journey with the drum to meet an animal guide.

Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life by Dr. Craig
"Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for they become your destiny." unknown author
I have been bringing this message of the power of the mind to everyone I can. It is based upon researchers and the work and writings of inspirational thinkers such as Dean Radin, Eric Pearl, Ramtha, Bruce Lipton, Abraham, Rupert Sheldrake, Greg Braden and many others. This special evening will review stories, research and anecdotes drawn from my personal explorations and from scientific studies that reveals how what and how you think about yourself is one of the greatest predictors of health and longevity. Come, enjoy and learn that the extraordinary is not impossible and is within your grasp on a daily basis. I have formally presented this information in institutions such as Whidbey General Hospital, The Island County Juvenile Corrections program and East West Books.

Having a Happy, Healthy Gut with Hope Fay, N.D.
As a naturopathic doctor who has practiced colon hydrotherapy for more then 25 years, Dr Hope has drawn many clients with acute and chronic problems with their Gastrointestinal / Digestive systems. Years of practice have broadened her skills and approach.
Dr Hope doesn't just treat the symptoms. She believes that it is necessary to see each person as a whole being with many factors that contribute to their condition. In order for a person to be healthy they must bring balance and healing to all aspects of the self.
A large part of Dr Hope’s practice has been in colon therapy. Her education in this area began in 1979 in Northern California and she has found this to be a very important part of her practice of medicine. Believing that a toxic and stagnant system can not heal, over the years she has worked with many and diverse problems of the digestive system.
Dr Hope is very excited to include two new areas of medicine in her practice. Amino acid therapy for the treatment of mood disorders from anxiety to depression, insomnia and fatigue. This is an added bonus to her work with stress related problems. And Dr Simeon’s HCG fat loss program to help her clients reach their healthy ideal weight, claim back their bodies and make lasting changes in the metabolic set point of the brain.
Dr Hope loves her work and 'takes the time to listen'.

Our experience of life is dependent far more on our inner state than our outer circumstances - even in tough times. Once we recognize our default patterns, we can shift our state intentionally. This experiential evening will include somatic (embodied rather than conceptual) practices that build greater connection, ease, and creativity. Victoria Castle, Master Somatic Coach, works with Fortune 500 leaders. Her book, The Trance of Scarcity, has helped thousands trade in struggle for ease and abundance. Tim Morley, LMP and owner of Mystical Restoration, is an intuitive healer who works with clients to access their authentic expression.

Relationship Issues? Tried everything but still struggling? Come to this introductory evening and experience a unique and profound paradigm shift in how you approach your relationships.
Annika works from a simple but profound understanding of the psychological principles that govern human experience, so that you go to the core of what makes people tick. By understanding how experience happens in the moment, it gets easier to create the quality you want in your relationships.
In this seminar you will learn:
-How to be aware of your own states of mind that lead to healthy intimacy and connection, as well as those that get in the way of it
-How to communicate in a way that allows you and your partner to get on the same page, rather than compromise
-How to capitalize on your innate capacity for connection without all the hard work
The premise is that all people are innately healthy.
Have access to their own inner wisdom.
And can experience this fact through these principles.
All Three Principles Are Working Together In Every Moment To Give People A New Experience Of Life.

Where touching begins, there love and humanity also begin." These words were written by Ashley Montague in his classic book, Touching. Human touch is one of the simplest forms of healing we know. Healthy touch can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relieve pain and stress, sooth our irritations, and can help us cope with the tensions of everyday. Learn to cultivate healthy touch for healing with our loved ones through some simple methods that we will practice together. Robyn is a licensed massage and craniosacral practitioner with a practice on South Whidbey Island. She has been a Waldorf teacher and a mother, and has completed a five year movement training in Spatial Dynamics.

We constantly use our senses to be aware of and experience what is going on in the world around us. Through imagery we can use these same senses to observe and experience the inner landscape. This leads from enjoyment and relaxation to altering the inner landscape to bring about emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. This healing comes about as we discover healthy images which then overshadow or replace the old images, diminishing their power and leaving the psyche more whole.
Imagery facilitates the development of intuitive capabilities by helping us learn the language of picture, symbol, and metaphor, and by helping us trust the experience that comes from within thereby weaning us from being totally dependent on intellect.
Our time together will include some theory of imagery, an imagery experience or two, and a demonstration group. You will begin to be aware of your ability to image and how it might be useful to you.
Marilyn Saunders, PhD, has been working with imagery for 30 years, has trained numerous therapists and other mental health professionals in the Washington, DC area to incorporate imagery into their work, and has presented at numerous conferences and workshops in the DC area as well as nationally and internationally. She is the author of a self-published book, Using Imagery in Therapy: A Path to Nurturance, Empowerment, and Reconciliation. She moved to Whidbey Island in December of 2004 and has been on extended sabbatical for four years. She is now ready to share her skills again and invite others to explore their inner landscapes.

A Whidbey Island holiday tradition returns to South Whidbey for the fifth year, as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County presents its annual Festival of Trees Gala and Auction. This entertaining formal event, featuring uniquely decorated trees and wreaths for auction, benefits children in the community allowing them to be matched in one-to-one relationships with positive role-models through the nonprofit organization. Nationally, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been the leader in one-to-one mentoring for more than 100 years. On Whidbey Island, the organization has more than 11 years with proven success in creating positive friendships that benefit children, volunteers, families, schools and our entire community. For years, dedicated tree decorators have created unique styles, which have continued to bring joy to the buyers for years to come. The Festivals of Trees is a community celebration designed to brighten the holiday season while brightening the futures of children, organizers said. All funds go directly to children’s services. Other Festival of Tree events include the public tree and wreath viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the Useless Bay Golf & Country Club in Freeland.
