Bayview Corner

Bayview Corner is located along Whidbey Island's Scenic Isle Way, and is a hamlet featuring shops, a restaurant, a grocery store, a fish market, a nursery and offices. Bayview is part of unicorporated Island County, and sits along Whidbey Island's Scenic Isle Way, along both sides of SR 525. The mix of businesses in this convenient area of Whidbey Island has a gas station, tire store, grocery, hardware, crafts, restaurants, a bike shop, a nursery/garden center, a high school, and more.The historic Bayview building, sits on what is known as Bayview Corner. The Bayview building was restored and is managed by Goosefoot.Bayview is also the home of the South Whidbey Seniors' Center, Island County Fire District 3, and Whidbey Telecom.

In 1999, the historic Bayview building in South Whidbey's Bayview Corner, was in serious disrepair, and in danger of being sold and demolished. A group of philanthropists realized this couldn't happen and formed the non-profit Goosefoot to help save this landmark.

The end result is a beautiful complex of shops, outdoor and indoor art, entertainment venues and environmental demonstration projects.

Building place and community, preserving rural traditions, enhancing local commerce and creating a sustainable future.

Goosefoot is located on beautiful Whidbey Island, on the northwest tip of Washington State. We are easily accessible from Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., perfect for a day trip
or a weekend getaway.
